Kalyn Schaeffer, OD
Optometric Physician
Dr. Kalyn Schaefer, OD attended the Illinois College of Optometry, recently graduating in May. During her time there, she was an academic coach and a Student Affairs and Admissions Department assistant. She also worked as the secretary of the Optometric Extension Program, where their efforts raised an excess of $10,000 in funding.
Dr. Schaefer has rotated through learning refractive correction, accommodative and oculomotor testing, as well as vision therapy techniques. Additionally, she was an extern at the Illinois Eye Institute, Family Vision and Eyecare in Rupert, ID, and the Veteran’s Affairs Clinic in Mishawaka, IN. She is excited to be part of the Carolina Eyecare Physicians family!
