Insurance Coverage
Typically, health insurance plans will not cover refractive surgery. However, some health and vision insurance policies provide a discount on your vision procedure. Bring your insurance card when you come in for an appointment and we’ll let you know if you are eligible to receive these savings.
Flexible Savings Accounts, Or Flex Plans & Healthcare Savings Accounts
Many companies offer a flexible benefits plan (sometimes called a”FLEX” or”cafeteria” plan) or healthcare savings account, which allows you to use pre-tax dollars towards medical costs, including LASIK! Taking advantage of this benefit can save you up to 30% on LASIK, cataract surgery, or other vision correction procedures.
